at least the AUD is good now
not a classic show tho. however, a good example of why Bruce got frustrated with how the Dead couldn't pull off his songs

Ya know, it used to be that you could download some really quality stuff on this site. This show is fantastic, but the fact the all the SBD's are streaming only and the shitty AUD is the only one you can download is complete bullshit.
However, now that I've cooled down, I'll have to say that this is a great, great show.

first ever show
I'd been collecting and trading tapes with a couple of English heads for a couple of years and I thought that's all it would ever be, that the Dead would never come to Europe again.
Then I was living 20 miles away from Frankfurt that year so I got tickets for me and my mate Stu.
So glad I did because of course they never did come to Europe again after 1990.
We drank a crate of Licher beer out in the car park and smoked a shitload of hashpipes - why not?
Well, what about the show? I can't honestly say it blew me away - they didn't play any of my real favourite tunes - but "Bird Song" was beautifully done and Stu nearly passed out in "Victim Or The Crime"...
I thought the shows in London were better (saw 2 out of 3). Still, I saw the Dead and it's amazing to hear it now all these years later.
What happened to all the downloads on this site BTW?
